Intro !!
We are a clan of 5 aspiring UX/UI Pupils of Designwings and this case study is part of our UI/UX course, From this case study we venture out to learn how real-world design teams operate on a particular project and to run a Design Sprint. So read further to know what we learned from executing this case study.

What is the motivation to choose this application !!
According to a study by ibef.org “The Indian E-commerce industry has been on an upward growth trajectory and is expected to surpass the US to become the second-largest E-commerce market in the world by 2034. India's e-commerce sector will reach US$99 billion by 2024 from US$30 billion in 2019, expanding at a 27% CAGR. A young demographic profile, rising internet penetration, and relative better economic performance are the key drivers of this sector.”
We have chosen “Reliance digital App — Redesign” as our case study because Reliance digital is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce sites and from our own experience we have found products at good deals than other leading e-commerce websites in India and reliance also has a great advantage of physical stores for users to look and feel a product.
So we decided to make the user experience more enjoyable.
Lastly, with over 1.5 Million Downloads and over 9400 reviews for Android and I-os. This is a real deal for a Design Team to start wearing a research hat.
How did we keep ourselves on track !!
To mimic a real-world scenario of a design team, We choose Kanban as our approach to keep agility flowing among ourselves. So we assigned work and kept moving the cards to Done. The Tool we used was Jira from Atlassian.
UX artifacts at the table now !!
So as we have already decided to enhance the current design and this is an example project. We imagine that all artifacts are already present.

Design Sprint: Our Approach !!
We decide to learn design sprint and each day one took the role of facilitator !! As we are learning how this is done, This becomes 5 weeks process instead of 5 days process. We spent the whole week understanding what is done on each day. Would you like to check what we are Jamming, Check out our Micro board(https://miro.com/app/board/o9J_lasnfOo=/)
Day 1 (Week 1): MAP
— — — — — — — — —
In Week one(Technically day 1) we dug into the reviews from the app store and had pain points from real users. We established a what are the issues and grouped them accordingly. Below are the images of the Problem statements.
After the team voted we decided to take one problem for sprint 1. The change was to make Pincode wise search and some UI aesthetics on the Home page.
Problem Statement
As a customer who is searching for a product
I want to have an autodetection of location feature
so that location-specific products can be shown before my input and also specify that a particular product is available/not available in my location
As a busy customer while buying a product
I want to buy the product without getting overwhelmed and get confused with misleading details, interface with an instant
So that I can buy the exact product easily within a few clicks
Day 2 (Week 2): SKETCH
— — — — — — — — — — -
n Week two (Technically day 2) we decided to rough sketch the solution we focus on So that we can solve the exciting problem and enhance the user experience. We made it a Low-Fi design as part of the sketch.
We also did a competitor analysis with other leading e-commerce websites and understood how the others are handling
- Filtering out unavailable products for a Pincode on the home page.
- Grid Alignment and how they follow UI Design Theory and Astecially
good
We decided to filter out the products and we decided to do a Lowfi design and try to solve the above-stated problems.
Day 3 (Week 3): DECIDE

Day 4(Week 4): PROTOTYPE

Day 5(Week 5): TESTS
